The 2016 Headies awards went down at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels & Suites, yesterday. Though there was palpable anticipation and excitement before the event, the organisers put up a good show, in spite of the economic recession and dearth of sponsors.
The absence of winners, to pick up their awards, seeming celebrities boycott, low quality production are among pitfalls that trailed the 2016 edition of the awards.
