Extraordinary! Nigerian Physician Bags Danish Highest Award (Photo)


Ade Ojeniyi, a Nigerian Chief Physician, and educator of veterinary drug, has been deliberated with a honor, the Knighthood of The Dannebrog Order of the Kingdom of Denmark.

Ojeniyi told newsmen on the phone from Grindsted, Denmark on Saturday that the honor was given to him on Jan.5. by Queen Margrethe 11 of Denmark. Prof. Ade Ojeniyi, beneficiary of a honor by the legislature of Denmark

This is one of the most astounding honors in Denmark. It was set up in 1683 by the King of Denmark.

"I was given the honor on account of my tremendous commitment to wellbeing and humankind. The Southern Regional government in Denmark suggested me for it and the Queen conceded it," Ojeniyi said.

The wear said in 2007, he presented the immunization against cervical malignancy in Greenland.

" As the main Physician and Medical Adviser to the legislature of Greenland, I presented the inoculation against cervical disease in 2007. I made Greenland the primary nation on the planet to begin immunizing young ladies against cervical disease," he said.

Ojeniyi said that he had been a meeting educator at the University of Texas in Houston for a long time. He said that after the Sept. 11, 2001, assault, the college picked him to convey an address on natural weapons and had been working with the college from that point forward.

Ojeniyi said that he was glad to get the honor since it was a triumph for Nigeria and Africa. " I devote the honor to the landmass of Africa and her kin. I am a delegate of the landmass, which is the birthplace of humanity," he said.
