A property supposedly having a place with the previous first woman, Persistence Jonathan, was on Tuesday decimated by the FCT Improvement Control Office.
The News Organization of Nigeria reports that the building, which is inside A. Aruera – Reachout Establishment/Ladies For Change and Advancement Activity, is arranged on Shehu Yar'Adua Route along Mabushi– Kado– Life Camp Turnpike, Abuja.
Emmanuel Anene, a legal counselor with E.A. Ezugwu and Partners, told the News Organization of Nigeria (NAN) that the issue of the building is as yet pending under the steady gaze of the Government High Courts in Lagos and Abuja.
"At some point some time recently, individuals from Improvement Control went to the site, claiming that there was no endorsement for the building.
"We met them at their office and demonstrated to them the endorsement, which they acknowledged. We imagined that the issue was finished.
"They had before gone to court with application for relinquishment of the property to the administration which they neglected to accomplish at the Lagos High Court.
"So we were astounded that a group came in this evening without advising us to expel the structure.
"Likewise, we were not presented with any notice for decimation, they just came in now and began the destruction of the structure,'' he said.
Reacting, Muktar Usman, Chief of Advancement Control, Government Capital Region Organization (FCTA), disclosed to NAN that the building had no endorsement and that notice was served for the decimation of the property.
He said the building was not by any means the only one influenced by the annihilation in the territory as there were others that were likewise decimated.
Mr. Muktar asserted that individuals from staff of the Improvement Control Division were likewise attacked at the premises.
