What does Cereals Actually Means?
Cereals are plants grown to produce grains for food.

Spaghetti with Cheese
Ingredients
100g spaghetti
25-50g grated parmesan cheese
25g butter
Salt, mill pepper
Method
1. Plunge spaghetti into a saucepan containing plenty of boiling salted water.

Ingredients
100g spaghetti
25g grated cheese
25g butter
250ml tomato sauce
100g tomato concassee
Salt,mill pepper
10g chopped onion
10g butter
100g tomatoes
Method
1. Plunge spaghetti into a saucepan.
2. Allow to boil gently and cool for 15 minutes
3. Drain well in a colander and return to a clean dry pan
4. Mix in the butter and the tomato sauce.
5. Correct the seasoning.
6. Add the tomato concassee.
7. Serve in a dish with granted cheese separately.

Ingredients
100g spaghetti
25-50g grated cheese
100g lean minced beef
25g butter

125ml brown sauce

Method

3. Add the beef and cook.
4. Add the brown sauce and simmer till tender

8. Drain well in a colander.
9. Return to a clean containing 10g butter.
10. Correct the seasoning.
11. Serve in a dinner plate with the sauce in centre of the spaghetti.
12. Serve grated cheese separately.
Braised Rice ( Pillaf Rice)
Ingredients
100g Rice (Long Grain)
185ml White stock (preferable chicken)
25g chopped onion
50g butter
Method
1. Add 35g butter in pan
2. Add the onion.
3. Cook gently with colouring for two (2) minutes.
4. Add the rice
5. Cook gently without colouring for three (3) minutes
6. Add the stock to rice.
7. Season, cover and bring to boil.
8. Place in a hot oven for approximately 15 minutes, until cooked.
9. Remove immediately into a sauce pan and mix in the remaining butter.
10. Correct the seasoning and serve.

Fried Rice
Ingredients
750 rice (long grain)
500 ml white stock (preferable chicken)
125g chopped onions
300ml vegetable oil
50g butter
400g vegetables ( peas, green, pepper, runner, beans,carrots) all diced
250g boiled liver & shrimps
Salt,curry,thyme,white pepper
Method
1. Put the stock in a saucepan, allow to boil
2. Season with salt , curry and others
3. Wash rice and put in the stock.
4. Allow to cook for 15 minutes.
5. Meanwhile, fry vegetables, liver, shrimp using the vegetable oil.
6. Fry the boiled rice in the mixture for approximately 2 minutes.
7. Melt the butter in it.
8. Serve with toasted or fried chicken or turkey.

Jollof Rice
Ingredients
3 cups or 750g Rice
1 1/2 kg chicken or beef
40g tomatoes puree
750ml water / stock
500ml vegetable oil
10g pepper
1 clove garlic
Salt to taste
2 bay leaves
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon curry powder
Method
1. Wash chicken or beef season and boil till tender.
2. Wash the rice and allow to drain.
3. Remove chicken from pot drain in a colander and keep stock.
4. Fry 50g onions Browning in vegetable oil in a thick - bottom pan for 3 minutes.
5. Add the blended tomato, pepper and remaining onions to the vegetable oil and then fry for 5 minutes
6. Add the stock from the chicken and the remaining water, cover,heat until boiling
7. Season the boiling mixture by adding salt, curry,thyme and others
8. Add Rice to the boiling mixture cover the pot lightly and boil for about 10 minutes.
9. Add sliced tomatoes and onions to the cooking rice, cover the pot and steam. Reduce the cooking temperature.
10. When Rice is cooked, and the moisture is almost dried, mix the content of the pot together.
11. Fry the chicken and serve with the cooked jollof rice.
12. Serve rice hot, piled in an oval flat dish and garnished with hard - boiled eggs, saute carrots and boiled prawns
