Maureen Zubie-Okolo, an observing and assessment specialist with United Nation Children's Fund (UNICEF), has expressed that Imo state beat the outline in utilization of condoms in South-wastern states.
Zubie Okolo expressed this at a preparation in Enugu yesterday.
She talked when she uncovered the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey to newsmen.
According to the report, among the South East states, Imo has the most elevated figure which is 75.9%.
Imo is nearly trailed by Anambra who has 66.0% and 57.6% for Enugu while Abia and Ebonyi states are the states with minimal measure of condom use, with Abia having 53.5% and Ebonyi having 27.5%.
The official clarified that Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey was completed in 2016/2017 by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in coordinated effort with UNICEF and it is utilized to help the administration in arrangement plan.
