Osinbajo votes in favor of state police


VP Yemi Osinbajo has concurred that appropriation of state police was the approach in addressing security needs of the nation.

"State police and other policing strategies are unmistakably the approach,'' he proclaimed on Thursday.

He said each Nigerian was qualified for sufficient security by government and that the security disappointments of the legislature were not consider.

He influenced the introduction at a National Security To summit sorted out by the National Assembly in Abuja.

"We can't practically police a nation the span of Nigeria midway from Abuja,'' he contended.

"As a people any killing undermines the security of the state,'' he expressed as he specified a few killings that had occurred in various parts of the nation as of late.
